A Snappier, Smoother Site

We spent some time making the site feel as responsive as it should. The changes are small on their own, but together they make everyday actions feel immediate.

Instant status, progress & ratings

When you set a reading status, drag your progress slider, or pick a rating, the change now appears the moment you tap — no waiting for the server to answer first. Everything saves in the background, and on the rare occasion something fails, the control quietly reverts so what you see always matches what's saved.

Polish all around

Issue pages now show a tidy skeleton placeholder while their details load, instead of an empty gap. We also smoothed out the smaller details site-wide — consistent text selection highlights, cleaner tap feedback on touch devices, and proper light/dark handling — so the whole interface feels a little more finished.
