Descriptions that read like descriptions
A book's description should be as readable as the book.
Formatting, preserved
Publisher descriptions often come with real structure: paragraphs that break up the pitch, a bold creator line, a bulleted list of what's collected. We now carry that formatting through to the edition page instead of flattening it into a single run of text, so longer synopses are far easier to actually read.
Clean and safe
The formatting is sanitized on the way in, so descriptions stay tidy and consistent with the rest of the page — no stray styling sneaking in, just the structure that helps you skim.
