Every action gives you a clear confirmation

We replaced the old browser alert boxes with something calmer.

A quiet confirmation, every time

When you add a book to your shelf, follow a reader, post a comment, or recommend something, a small message now slides in to confirm it worked — then gets out of your way. No more pop-ups that stop everything until you click "OK".

Undo, when it counts

Removed the wrong book, or changed your mind? The confirmation for actions like that carries an Undo button, so a misclick is a one-tap fix rather than a do-over.

Errors you can actually read

If something goes wrong, you'll see exactly what — in the same tidy spot, in red — instead of a silent failure. It's a small change that makes the whole site feel more responsive.
