The Ring
Edition excerpt from Ring Vol 04 Birthday (2004): The ring saga continues! Almost everyone knows about the frightening film adaptation of Koji Suzuki's fantastic Japanese horror novels (in fact, the American adaptation of The Ring 2 is currently shooting in Oregon!). Now you can find out what the story is really about! Birthday is a colleciton of three short stories providing detailed background stories about the evil Sadako and what makes her otherworldly scheme work so well. "Coffin in the Sky" relates Mai Takano's last days gestating the next Sadako, "Lemon Heart" tells a story of Sadako's ill-fated young love, and "Sakado" will take you to the icy depths of the tragic, young psychic girl's creeping vengeance! This collection is translated into English but oriented in right-to-left reading format, as originally published.
