Superman: Our Worlds at War Omnibus

Edition excerpt from Superman: Our Worlds at War Omnibus Vol. 1: Prelude to War! (2025): A new cosmic threat puts the entire DC Universe at risk! It’s a job not even Superman can handle, in this consequential early-2000s era event now collected in omnibus editions! The start of the new millennium marked a turning point for Superman at DC Comics, with talent including Jeph Loeb, Joe Kelly, Doug Mahnke, and Ed McGuinness joining the franchise—and delivering shocking new developments, like Lex Luthor successfully running for President of the United States! This new Superman status quo led to a major DC event called “Our Worlds at War,” with the planet-destroying Imperiex heading to Earth—and the Man of Steel and the heroes of the DC Universe overwhelmed in their attempt to stop it, as the planet is ravaged with fire and destruction. With the fate of the world at stake, the Man of Steel is left no choice but to forge uncertain alliances with President Luthor, Darkseid, Mongul, and other dubious allies!
