It's Jeff: Jeff-Verse

Edition excerpt from It's Jeff: Jeff-Verse (2025): From Eisner Award-winning writer Kelly Thompson and beloved Japanese art duo Gurihiru. Meet Jeff the Land Shark—the cute, innocent, and downright hilarious breakout star who has flooded hearts like an adorable tidal wave since his introduction to the Marvel Universe. Now Jeff embarks on his own madcap adventures with guest spots from your favorite heroes including Kate Bishop, Gwenpool, America Chavez, and the Avengers! You thought it was safe doing laundry or going for a leisurely swim in the pool...but no activity can protect against Jeff's cuteness! Whether he's orchestrating a pet shop takeover, solving high-stakes mysteries like "what's the best street-food snack," or facing the chaos of the Venom War, Jeff is flipping his fantastic fins everywhere. But when a symbiote crosses his path, will Marvel's goodest boy keep his cool—or give in to temptation and eat someone's brains?! These nearly wordless visual stories showcase Gurihiru's masterful storytelling through expressive art and charming designs, making them perfect for young readers (ages 10-14) and all-ages Marvel fans who want pure fun. Thompson and Gurihiru's Eisner-nominated It's Jeff Infinity Comic series proves that sometimes the best stories need no words—just an adorable land shark with a big appetite and an even bigger heart.
