Hellblazer Special Chas

Edition excerpt from John Constantine, Hellblazer: Chas - The Knowledge (2009): They call it "The Knowledge": Twenty-five thousand street names, 320 routes, and countless points of interest that all London hackney cab drivers must learn by heart. It's a mental map of England's most storied city - and chas Chandler, hack extraordinaire and John Constantine's reliable sidekick, knows it backwards and forwards. And that's not all Chas knows. After years of serving as both Constantine's driver and his muscle, he's seen the dark, demonic forces that lurk in the shadows of London's streets. He's also seen how friends can let you down, how love can grow stale, how life can take a wrong turn and leave you driving in circles. But whena supernatural threat as old as the Black Plague and twice as deadly resurfaces - with Constantine out of the country and out of commission - it's up to Chas to ditch that dead-end feeling and save the city. Does he have the knowledge he needs to take the wheel?
