Synopsis
The beloved manga action epic that inspired the hit anime returns in this premium collector’s hardcover, including volumes 7–9 of the Japanese edition and original bonus content! Pushed to the brink of despair after his father's attempt on his life, Prince Canute has experienced an awakening, rebelling against not just his earthly father but the order of the very heavens... Canute has transformed from a timid boy who would never sit astride the throne of Denmark into a clear-eyed man with the heart of a king. But a king needs a crown, and Canute now knows that nothing will be given to him. If he wants to rule, he will have to prove his ruthlessness with a plot that will change the fate of the kingdom. Meanwhile, Thorfinn watches events unfold that could steal away the vengeance he has waited so long to achieve... This premium, hardcover edition presents the acclaimed action epic in hardcover, at a bigger size than ever before (7 by 10 inches), wrapped in a black leather-patterned cover with logo stamping. This new edition features all the content of the original release, plus new and exclusive bonus illustrations, interviews, and behind-the-scenes details never before translated.
